Strong academics
Resilience: have you overcome significant challenges? Resilience is a valuable asset for a practising lawyer. We welcome candidates from under-represented backgrounds, first-generation students, and those who have experienced significant hardship.
Volunteering and/or pro bono experience: we value students who contribute to their local communities, whether through legal advice or other assistance.
Dedication to career progression: this includes extra-curricular activities and work experience, both in law and other fields.
Leadership, entrepreneurial, innovation, or other transferable skills: this is particularly relevant for career changers who study successfully at BPP.
The strongest applicants who apply by the full fee and half fee scholarship deadline will be required to complete a project to compete for these scholarships.
