This Insurance Professional apprenticeship will equip you with a depth of technical expertise in insurance and its regulatory framework to give you the edge in a highly competitive industry. You’ll benefit from training aligned to your career pathway, becoming a specialist in your chosen area of insurance. You’ll also have the chance to pursue further training in underwriting or claims.
On this programme, you’ll also earn a Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Diploma in Insurance. Depending on your employer, your CII modules will either be the London Markets (LM) pathway or the Insurance Fundamentals (IF) pathway.

Where will the programme take you?
Once you’ve completed the apprenticeship, you can apply to become a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).
Keep your progression going with further training on the Level 6 Senior Insurance Professional Apprenticeship which also awards the CII Advanced Diploma in Insurance.
Who's eligible?
Eligibility can vary depending on the requirements of the individual employer, but typically includes:
At least 12 months industry experience, or
Be educated to degree level, and
Five GCSEs with grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), including English and maths
