The Level 5 Operations/Departmental Manager Apprenticeship gives you the strategic management capabilities to inspire performance. Through one-to-one performance coaching and technical training, you’ll learn new and innovative strategies.
Embrace the challenge of leadership with scalable and transferable skills, such as team and performance management, stakeholder engagement and influence, change management, and positive leadership. Embedding the principles of coaching, you’ll take a unique approach to leadership development and use the skills and behaviours of influential coaches to transform your role.

This level 5 management apprenticeship has been created for middle managers from any area in a business with three to five years of management experience, this programme is ideal for:

Where will the programme take you?
If you’re ready to take the next step in your career, this apprenticeship will give you the skills, knowledge and behaviours to take on new opportunities to progress onto a senior management position.
If you have three years' experience in a management role, you’ll qualify with a CMI Chartered Manager professional status, alongside CMI membership (MCMI). If you’ve got less than three years’ experience, you’ll qualify with a Foundation Chartered Manager professional status.

Three A-Levels or equivalent (including GCSE English and maths)

Significant work experience
