BPP picks up Bronze in technology award
The Bronze win celebrated BPP’s initial emergency response and how they strategically navigated a very complex situation.
BPP are pleased to announce they have been awarded ‘Bronze’ for ‘Best Digital Learning Transformation programme implemented in response to Covid-19’ in the recent Learning Technologies 2021 event.
The education provider was shortlisted for their response to the Covid-19 pandemic and how, as a group, they faced the many challenges faced across the business in the immediate aftermath of lockdown, and over the following 12 months.
The Bronze win celebrated BPP’s initial emergency response and how they strategically navigated a very complex situation.
The objective was to provide a business-as-usual approach to supporting learners, as well as introducing new technologies and adapting/evolving ones already in place. This ranged from scaling up the Hub project to creating a fantastic online student community.
Heather Gough, Head of Digital Product Management at BPP said
“The way in which BPP dealt with significant change in such unusual circumstances demonstrated how so many people and teams can work together with one aim. The reality for BPP is that planning for such events began years earlier with highly detailed BCPs which were put into full use at the start of the pandemic. Not only did we react quickly, but we had the technical infrastructure to advance existing projects quicker than expected and also introduce a raft of new features which will be in place for the longer term.”
