Seamlessly integrating your law conversion and SQE1 preparation into one, you’ll cover the foundational legal knowledge you need before moving onto the Functioning Legal Knowledge (FLK) areas assessed in the SQE1. With learning contextualised using realistic legal scenarios, you’ll also start developing the core skills you’ll need for the SQE2.

External assessments
The SQE comprises two stages: SQE1 and SQE2. The cost of the SQE assessment is not included in your course fee, and it is your responsibility to book and pay for the assessments directly with the SRA’s authorised assessment provider, Kaplan SQE Ltd.

Dates and locations
The SQE1 Preparation part of this course is taught at BPP London Central (Holborn).
Please note, our Cambridge study centre does not qualify for a student visa.
Full-time: you will typically receive between eight to 10 contact hours per week in small group workshops. In addition, students will be required to complete approximately 30 hours of independent study per week.
Part-time: we offer a variety of part-time options including evening, weekend and online study. You will typically receive four contact hours per week. In addition,you will be required to complete approximately 10-12 hours of independent learning per week.
Fees and funding
2024-2025 academic year
A deposit of £350 will need to be paid within 48 hours of accepting your offer on all our courses, to secure your place.
In addition to your fees, there may be additional charges associated with your studies if you need to resit a BPP assessment. View resit information
