Apprenticeship Overview
Support your customers through the complex world of mortgages. On this Mortgage Adviser apprenticeship, you’ll comprehensively cover mortgages and related protection products, applying new knowledge and skills to offer game-changing advice to customers.
Throughout the course you’ll become familiar with financial services systems and processes. You’ll develop confidence operating within legal and regulatory frameworks, as well as corporate risks and governance frameworks. On top of high-level technical learning, you’ll strengthen crucial customer service skills such as listening and communication, problem solving, resilience and relationship building.
Your development on this programme will be recognised by the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP) qualification from the London Institute of Banking and Finance.

Where will the programme take you?
As a highly skilled mortgage advisor, you’ll have the opportunity to work in a range of banking, building society, or estate agent settings.
This programme will also equip you with the transferrable skills to progress your career in other financial services areas such as insurance, investment management or risk and compliance.
Take your expertise further with the Level 4 Insurance Professional Apprenticeship. At this level, you’ll be on the path to becoming an expert in insurance, opening a range of senior career opportunities.
Who's eligible?
Eligibility can vary depending on the requirements of the individual employer, but typically includes:
A minimum of five GCSEs with grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), including English and maths
OR
Relevant work experience
