BPP continues to secure exclusive SQE training agreements with a host of firms.

As details of the first SQE results are being published, BPP continues to secure exclusive SQE training agreements with a host of firms.

Law firms such as BCLP, Cripps Pemberton Greenish, Dentons, DWF, Kennedys, KPMG, Osborne Clarke, Travers Smith, Walker Morris, and Weightmans are just some of the major firms who have chosen BPP as their provider for a range of SQE training programmes and Graduate Solicitor Apprenticeships which will both prepare their future trainees for the SQE and for success in their legal careers.

This comes after The City Consortium, a group of leading City law firms, appointed BPP University Law School to deliver a suite of market-leading and innovative programmes which will commence later this year.

The career-focussed programmes have been designed to give trainees a competitive edge in a buoyant recruitment market. The University has carefully developed its courses following extensive collaboration with some of the UK’s leading law firms, as well as consultation with regulators and professional bodies.

Courses are designed to ensure a deep understanding of the topics on the SQE curriculum, meaning knowledge can be recalled quickly, and legal skills applied accurately.

Furthermore, BPP’s unique learning platform, BPP Adapt, enables students to track their learning and see an accurate view of their progress, helping them to understand their strengths and target areas for improvement, ensuring they’re fully prepared to pass the SQE and provide them with the crucial knowledge needed to be a successful lawyer.

Annabel Goh, Emerging Talent Manager at Cripps, says, “This is a time of great change for students entering the profession and we are delighted to continue working with BPP as we adjust our training contract programme to ensure our trainees’ success under the new pathway.”

Jo-Anne Pugh, Dean of BPP University Law School, said, “We are delighted that we continue to build fantastic relationships with so many firms who put their confidence and trust in our SQE delivery approach. The growing number of firms joining us demonstrates that our unique method fosters credibility from these firms. We really believe that our method of teaching, combining tutor contact time with innovative educational technology is the optimum way to learn and retain the SQE syllabus as demonstrated in our recent SQE results."

*Following the first release of SQE results, BPP were extremely pleased that the initial group of apprentices who studied with BPP overall achieved pass rates and average marks well above the global statistics released by the SRA, with a number of BPP’s learners sitting in the top quintile of candidates.
