Time limit changes to complete ACCA

Learn about the recent changes to the ACCA time limit rules and make sure your exam passes don't go to waste. Book your next ACCA course today.

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) have relaxed their time limit rules, meaning you no longer have 10 years from starting your studies to sit your final exam. For students that have previously studied ACCA papers but have not yet progressed to full qualification, it could take just four papers or less for you to become fully ACCA qualified. Previously, ACCA students were required to complete all exams within 10 years of their initial registration date.

Under the new rules, exams completed in the Applied Knowledge and Applied Skills levels are frozen and safe.

However, there is a time limit to complete the Strategic Professional level exams. You will have seven years to pass Strategic Professional, starting from the point of the first exam pass at this level.
