Matthew is an experienced criminal barrister, pupil supervisor, and advocacy trainer. He was recognised as a Leading Junior in the Legal 500 before joining BPP as a BTC tutor. He is now an associate fellow of the charity Advance HE, supporting excellence in education.
Caroline Rayson - Award Leader
Caroline qualified as a solicitor with Ashurst and worked at Osborne Clarke before moving to BPP in 2012. Caroline combines leading BPP’s SQE1 programmes with teaching on the City Consortium programme, bringing her City legal experience into the classroom.
James Juggapah - Head of Law (Midlands)
Having practised as a criminal defence barrister at Cartwright Clark Solicitors, James is currently Head of Law at BPP Birmingham. Alongside his role at BPP, James is an Assistant Chief Examiner and Leader External Examiner for Professional Ethics for the Bar Standards Board (BSB).
Charlotte Wanendeya - Head of Law (London)
Charlotte began her career as a solicitor with Clifford Chance, before moving into education. She is Head of Law at BPP London, Vice-Chair of the City of London Law Society Training Committee, and has over 30 years teaching experience.
Mark Brookes - Barrister Tutor
Initially practising as a solicitor, Mark worked for the Crown Prosecution Service before founding Kingsley Brookes Solicitors, a specialist criminal defence practice. In 2013, Mark was called to the Bar. Mark teaches Criminal Litigation and Evidence, and oral skills on the Barrister Training Course.
Natasha Saleh - Senior SQE Lecturer
Natasha has over 15 years of lecturing experience and has won both BPP Lecturer of the Year and BPP Hero of the Year, group-wide student-nominated awards. Before moving into professional education, Natasha started her career as a solicitor at Dentons LLP.What our law students say
