Apprenticeship Overview

Immerse yourself in cutting-edge leadership theories. Based on the concept of ‘Leader as Coach’, our Senior Leader apprenticeship will enable you to become confident with core elements of leadership, including positive leadership, ethical leadership, strategic leadership, and curious leadership. You’ll also master key leadership skills, from authentic leadership and navigating change with resilience, to creating a positive leadership culture and empowering teams for success.  

Put your vision into practice with the skills, knowledge, and behaviours you need to get results. 

As part of this Senior Leader apprenticeships you’ll gain European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) accreditation and professional recognition with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) on completion of the programme.*

Who is the programme for?

Created for senior and executive level managers with at least three years’ experience in managerial role, this programme is ideal for: 

  • Chief Officers 

  • Executive Directors 

  • Directors / Associate Directors 

  • Heads of Departments 

Where will the programme take you?

This apprenticeship will give you the tools to stand out as a senior leader and take the initiative to drive your organisation to success.  

Once you’ve completed the programme, you can further your training with the final stage of the MSc Management awarded by BPP University.* 

This includes a short preparatory programme designed to equip you with the necessary skills required for academic study.

Who's eligible?

Eligibility can vary depending on the requirements of the individual employer, but typically includes: 

  • UK honours degree (or equivalent). Professional qualifications can be taken into account​

  • A minimum of five GCSEs with grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), including English and maths  

OR  

  • Significant work experience  

To apply for this programme you must be employed in a relevant role.
