If you’re looking to qualify as a chartered accountant through the ACCA, these are the ACCA exam fees you’ll need to consider. This guide will breakdown what each ACCA exam costs, as well as looking at:

ACCA registration fee

You’ll need to register with the ACCA before you can sit any exams. There is also a yearly subscription fee that you’ll need to pay while you’re studying for the ACCA exams.

These ACCA fees are:

ACCA registration fee: £89
ACCA subscription fee: £122

If you stop paying the annual subscription fee, you will have to pay the ACCA registration fee again in order to continue your qualification.

ACCA exam fees 2023

The ACCA exam costs differ based on when you apply for your exam. For example, late entry dates are often much more expensive than standard entry. These fees do not include ACCA foundation exams or other courses you may need to complete before tackling the main ACCA exams.

How much are ACCA exam resits?

Unfortunately, there are no discounts for resits. You will need to pay the standard ACCA exam fees to re-book.

ACCA exemption fees

Exemptions from the ACCA exams apply if you already have some qualifications. Applying for an exemption will allow you to start your qualification process at the right level based on your experience and knowledge.

In order to get an exemption, you will have to pay a fee for each exemption.

ACCA course fees

ACCA course fees vary between the three ACCA levels, and each ACCA paper within those levels.

ACCA membership fees

Once you have completed the ACCA exams, Professional Ethics module, and 36 months of practical experience, you will be eligible to become an ACCA member. The ACCA membership fees include an admission fee of £283, and an annual subscription cost of £283.
