Additional Terms and Conditions for the International MSc Career Guarantee Package from 2024
For International Students who have opted to purchase the International MSc Career Guarantee Package for their MSc programme commencing from 1 September 2024 (all start dates)
These Additional Terms and Conditions apply to all Applicable Programmes which offer the International MSc Career Guarantee Package.
These Additional Terms and Conditions are in addition to the University Terms and Conditions, the BPP PE Terms and Conditions and the Website Terms of Use (if you purchase the Applicable Programme via the Website) that apply to the sale of any Applicable Programme.
Please read these Additional Terms and Conditions, the University Terms and Conditions and the BPP PE Terms and Conditions carefully before purchasing an Applicable Programme which offers the International MSc Career Guarantee Package. Please print off or keep a copy of these Additional Terms and Conditions for your records. BPP will not file or otherwise keep a copy of the agreement concluded between you and BPP University and a copy of the concluded agreement will not be available from BPP at a future time and date.
By ordering an Applicable Programme to which the International MSc Career Guarantee Package applies, you confirm your agreement to be bound by these Additional Terms and Conditions.
If there is any conflict between these Additional Terms and Conditions, the University Terms and Conditions, the BPP PE Terms and Conditions and the Website Terms of Use, the Additional Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
In these Terms and Conditions, “BPP University” means BPP University Limited of BPP House, Aldine Place, 142-144 Uxbridge Road, London W12 8AA, registered in England and Wales under company number 02609100, VAT registration number GB 115 1024 75, telephone number 03300 603 100. “BPP PE” means BPP Professional Education Limited of BPP House, Aldine Place, 142 -144 Uxbridge Road, London W12 8AA, registered in England and Wales under company number 04546335, VAT registration number GB 466 4516 29, telephone number 03300 603 200.

1. Definitions
1.1. Words and expressions defined in the University Terms and Conditions have the same meaning in these Additional Terms and Conditions except to the extent that they are varied by these Additional Terms and Conditions.
1.2. In these Additional Terms and Conditions, the following terms have the following meanings:
“Applicable Programmes” means the International MSc Programmes listed at Schedule 1, delivered by BPP University on which the student is registered with a start date from 1 September 2024;
“BPP” means BPP University or BPP PE, as the context may require;
“BPP PE Terms and Conditions” means the terms and conditions which apply in respect of all of BPP PE’s products and which are available at https://www.bpp.com/terms-and-conditions/classroom-online-terms;
“BPP’s Recruitment Service” means BPP’s spectrum of support outlined at Schedule 3, offered to Qualifying Students, to assist whilst they are seeking employment, exclusive to those who purchase the International MSc Career Guarantee Package. The Recruitment Service does not commit to placing a Qualifying Student into a role, but to provide exclusive support to boost their chances to secure employment.
“Certifications and Qualifications” means the certifications and qualifications listed at Schedule 2;
”Free Course” means a free enrolment on a course for one of the Certifications or Qualifications”;
“International MSc Career Guarantee Package” means the package available for Sponsored International Students to purchase for £1000 (inclusive of VAT), payable in addition to the Programme Fees for your Applicable Programme, which entitles the Qualifying Student to study one of the Certifications or Qualifications listed at Schedule 2 (excluding the cost of any resits, which will be at the Qualifying Student’s own expense and must be arranged directly by the Qualifying Student, if required) and subject to passing both the Applicable Programme and their Certification or Qualification, the Qualifying Student shall have access to a BPP’s Recruitment Service who will assist the Qualifying Student whilst they are seeking employment;
“Sponsored International Student” means a student whom BPP University sponsors on a visa;
“Qualifying Student” means any student who has purchased and participates in an Applicable Programme and who has purchased the International MSc Career Guarantee Package, who meets the criteria specified within clause 2.1, below;
“Role” means any employed role (either in the United Kingdom or elsewhere); and
“University Terms and Conditions” means the BPP University terms and conditions which apply to your Applicable Programme, and which are available at https://www.bpp.com/terms-and-conditions.
2. Additional Terms and Conditions for all Applicable Programmes under the International MSc Career Guarantee Package
2.1 In order to be a Qualifying Student under the International MSc Career Guarantee Package, you must meet all of the following criteria in addition to any specific requirements relating to your relevant Applicable Programme:
2.1.1 You must be a Sponsored International Student;
2.1.2 You must have completed and passed the full time face-to-face Applicable Programme at one of BPP University’s centres in London, Birmingham or Manchester that offered your Applicable Programme, within the scheduled end date of the Applicable Programme;
2.1.3 You must meet all eligibility criteria (if any) for the Certification or Qualification on which you wish to enrol;
2.1.4 You must meet all eligibility criteria (if any) for the Free Course on which you wish to enrol; and
2.1.5 You must have paid in full, all payments due.
For the avoidance of doubt, it shall be the sole responsibility of a student to establish whether they meet the necessary eligibility criteria in order to be considered a ‘Qualifying Student’.
2.2 The International MSc Career Guarantee Package shall not apply where the requirements of Clause 2.1 have not been met in full.
2.3 Subject to the provisions of this Clause 2, if you are a Qualifying Student who has, in the following order:
(i) purchased an Applicable Programme and the International MSc Career Guarantee Package;
(ii) passed your Certification or Qualification within four (4) months after Applicable Programme end date (the ‘Wrap-Up Period); and
(iii) having used reasonable endeavours to obtain a Role (including but not limited to, having effectively engaged with BPP’s Recruitment Service), you have not been offered a Role within five (5) months of the Wrap Up Period ending;
you may, no later than six (6) months after the Wrap-Up Period has ended, either:
(a) enrol on one Free Course free-of-charge with BPP University or BPP PE (as the case may be); or
(b) request a refund of the £1000 paid for the International MSc Career Guarantee Package, minus the retail price of the Certification or Qualification at the time the Qualifying Student completed it under the International MSc Career Guarantee Package.
2.4 Within the time period set out in Clause 2.3, BPP will require Qualifying Students of the International MSc Career Guarantee Package to:
(i) produce documentary evidence of a Qualifying Student's endeavours to secure a Role; both utilising any agency the Qualifying Student was connected with and any individual endeavours; and
(ii) evidence that the services of BPP’s Recruitment Service provided as part of the International MSc Career Guarantee Package have been fully engaged with and utilised, including attendance at any and all sessions organised as part of the support offered by BPP’s Recruitment Service.
2.5 The assessment of whether a Qualifying Student has used reasonable endeavours to secure a Role shall be at the sole discretion of BPP, acting reasonably, based on the evidence provided by the Qualifying Student.
2.6 A Qualifying Student may only take one Free Course under the International MSc Career Guarantee Package and shall only be offered teaching in relation to such Free Course once under the International MSc Career Guarantee Package. A Qualifying Student may (at BPP University or BPP PE's sole discretion, as the case may be) be offered the opportunity to pay for additional teaching at BPP University or BPP PE's (as the case may be) list price from time to time. Where a Qualifying Student fails any examination which is linked to a Free Course, all costs associated with retaking the relevant examination and any further tuition required by the Qualifying Student shall be payable by the Qualifying Student at BPP University or BPP PE's (as the case may be) list price from time to time.
2.7 The Free Courses are available as face-to-face and online courses, subject to change and availability. To the extent that BPP University and/or BPP PE (as applicable) no longer delivers part or all of the Free Course by distance learning online means, that part or all of the Free Course (as the case may be) shall cease to be included as part of the International MSc Career Guarantee Package.
2.8 Neither BPP University nor BPP PE will offer visa sponsorship to cover any Qualifying Student to study a Free Course. Should a Qualifying Student’s visa for their Applicable Programme expire, they will need to find and evidence a new visa to prove right to study in the UK if they wish to engage in face-to-face tuition.
2.9 Subject to the provisions of this Clause 2, to book a Free Course pursuant to the International MSc Career Guarantee Package, you must email internationalenrolment@bpp.com and provide:
2.9.1 a copy of your BPP transcript from the Applicable Programme;
2.9.2 confirmation of the date of your results of the Applicable Programme (if not shown on your transcript);
2.9.3 confirmation of passing the Certification or Qualification that you enrolled on as part of the International MSc Career Guarantee Package;
2.9.4 documentary evidence of a Qualifying Student's endeavours to secure a Role; both utilising any agency the Qualifying Student was connected with and any individual endeavours.
2.9.5 evidence that the services of BPP’s Recruitment Service provided as part of the International MSc Career Guarantee Package have been fully engaged with and utilised, including attendance at any and all sessions organised as part of the support offered by BPP’s Recruitment Service; and
2.9.6 evidence of achieving the eligibility criteria under Clause 2.1.
2.10 The International MSc Career Guarantee Package and places on Free Courses are subject to availability. You may be offered an alternate Free Course where your first choice of Free Course is unavailable on the date requested. If you decline any such offer, BPP shall be under no obligation to provide any Free Course to you under the International MSc Career Guarantee Package.
2.11 If having booked a Free Course, such Free Course is cancelled by BPP PE , you may either (i) book onto the next intake of that Free Course; or (ii) book onto another Free Course (where offered as part of the International MSc Career Guarantee Package for your Applicable Programme); or (iii) opt to receive the £1000 refund for the International MSc Career Guarantee Package, as an alternative, minus the retail price of the Certification or Qualification at the time the Qualifying Student completed it under the International MSc Career Guarantee Package.
2.12 In no circumstances shall BPP University refund your Programme Fees for the Applicable Programme, in the event that any Certification or Qualification and/or Free Course offer is unavailable under International MSc Career Guarantee Package, pursuant to Clauses 2.10 or 2.11.
2.13 BPP shall only be obliged to provide Free Courses to Qualifying Students pursuant to these Additional Terms and Conditions. For the avoidance of doubt, unless specifically stated, the International MSc Career Guarantee Package does not include any additional tuition or revision courses that do not form part of the Free Course.
2.15 Unless specifically stated, the International MSc Career Guarantee Package does not include any other discount or financial benefit to Qualifying Students and excludes any amounts payable to awarding bodies or any other professional body for membership.
2.16 Save as amended by these Additional Terms and Conditions, BPP University or BPP PE's (as applicable) standard cancellation and deferral terms set out in the University Terms and Conditions or BPP PE Terms and Conditions (as applicable) will apply to the International MSc Career Guarantee Package and any applicable Free Course.
2.17 In the event that you (i) cancel your place on the Applicable Programme after having accepted that place, (ii) withdraw from the Applicable Programme at any time during such Programme or (iii) are withdrawn from the Applicable Programme at any time, you shall no longer be entitled to redeem the applicable Free Course nor any part of the International MSc Career Guarantee Package. The International MSc Career Guarantee Package will no longer be available to you even if it is still generally available to other Qualifying Students.
2.18 BPP reserves the right to withdraw the International MSc Career Guarantee Package at any time without notice. However, the International MSc Career Guarantee Package will not be withdrawn for you where you are already enrolled on an Applicable Programme and have purchased the International MSc Career Guarantee Package prior to the International MSc Career Guarantee Package being withdrawn.
2.19 The International MSc Career Guarantee Package cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion run by BPP University and/or BPP PE.
2.20 The International MSc Career Guarantee Package is non-transferable by you (either to another person or to another course run by BPP University and/or BPP PE) and no cash alternative will be offered.
2.21 BPP will process the information it receives from you or otherwise holds about you in accordance with these Additional Terms and Conditions, the University Terms and Conditions, the BPP PE Terms and Conditions and its privacy policy, which is available at www.bpp.com/privacy.
2.22 BPP is unable to supply any course and/or study materials to any person or entity located in a US embargoed territory, as provided by the US Treasury Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) from time to time. To the extent that BPP is precluded from such supply, it shall not be obliged to provide you with the Free Course. Neither BPP University nor BPP PE is liable for any delay or failure to perform any obligation to you that is caused by any circumstance beyond their reasonable control or by any act or omission of any third party.
2.23 Neither BPP University nor BPP PE shall be liable to you for any financial loss arising out of the refusal, cancellation or withdrawal of the International MSc Career Guarantee Package or any failure or inability by you to redeem the International MSc Career Guarantee Package for any reason.
2.24 BPP may amend these Additional Terms and Conditions from time to time to comply with law or regulation or in order to meet its reasonable business requirements from time to time without notice to you. Any updates or amendments will be posted on BPP’s website.
2.25 These Additional Terms and Conditions and any other matters arising out of or in relation to these Additional Terms and Conditions, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts to settle any dispute which may arise out of or in connection with these terms and conditions.

BPP’s Recruitment Service
BPP’s Recruitment Service will provide support and guidance to students who purchase the International MSc Career Guarantee package. This support and guidance will be in addition to the standard Careers Support offered to all BPP University students.
Services provided by the Recruitment Service include:
Career Profiling – to identify where you are in your career, your goals for the future, and skills gaps to feed into your development;
Career Coaching – to support you to create an ‘agency-ready’ CV and cover letter;
Mock job applications and interviews – with feedback on any areas for improvement;
Skills Workshops – to build on digital and personal skills developed within the MSc;
Access to premium job search and support – through a specialist recruitment agent, who will help to identify suitable opportunities.
