BPP Payment Plan Terms and Conditions

These Additional Terms and Conditions apply to all Qualifying Students who wish to study an Applicable Courses and who choose to pay for their Applicable Course using the BPP Payment Plan. These Additional Terms and Conditions are in addition to the General Terms and Conditions and the Website Terms of Use (if you purchase the Applicable Course via the Website) that apply to the sale of any Classroom Course or Online Course.

These Additional Terms and Conditions do not apply to programmes provided by BPP University College of Professional Studies Limited and therefore do not apply to full-time ACCA courses and any examinations relating to full-time ACCA courses.

Please read these Additional Terms and Conditions carefully before purchasing an Applicable Course and choosing to pay using the BPP Payment Plan. Please print off or keep a copy of these Additional Terms and Conditions for your records. BPP will not file or otherwise keep a copy of the agreement concluded between you and BPP and a concluded agreement will not be available from BPP at a future time and date.

By ordering an Applicable Course and agreeing to pay using the BPP Payment Plan, you are confirming your agreement to be bound by these Additional Terms and Conditions.

If there is any conflict between these Additional Terms and Conditions, the General Terms and Conditions and the Website Terms of Use, the conflict shall be resolved according to the following order of priority; (1) the Additional Terms and Conditions; (2) the General Terms and Conditions; and (3) the Website Terms of Use.

1. Definitions

1.1. Words and expressions defined in the General Terms and Conditions have the same meaning in these Additional Terms and Conditions except to the extent that they are varied by these Additional Terms and Conditions.

1.2. In these Additional Terms and Conditions, the following terms have the following meanings:

“Applicable Courses” means CIMA Pass Ready Solution Classroom Course and Online Course packages and ACCA Pass Ready Solution Classroom Course and Online Course packages offered by BPP, (excluding the CIMA T4 paper, CIMA Certificate papers, ACCA Knowledge papers and ACCA F4 paper) and AAT full level purchases for face to face, OCR and OCR Live courses;
“Qualifying Student” means any student who purchases an Applicable Course and qualifies for the BPP Payment Plan under Clause 2.2 of these Additional Terms and Conditions.

2. Additional Terms and Conditions

2.1 The BPP Payment Plan enables Qualifying Students to pay their Course Fees in four equal instalments, the first instalment being due at the time your order is placed. The remainder of your Course Fees will be due in 3 equal instalments, payable on a monthly basis on the 28th (twenty eighth) day of each subsequent month. Your second instalment will not be due until the second month following your order being placed and your first instalment being paid e.g. if you place your order and pay your first instalment on 12th January, your second instalment will not be due until 28th February and your third and fourth instalments will be due on 28th March and April respectively.

2.2 In order to be a Qualifying Student for the BPP Payment Plan, you must meet all of the following requirements:

2.2.1 you must purchase a complete Applicable Course, including all of the Taught, Revision and Exam Practice phases for one CIMA or ACCA Paper; or the full level for AAT face to face, OCR or OCR Live courses;

2.2.2 all phases of the Applicable Course must be ordered at the same time;

2.2.3 all orders must be placed by telephoning BPP Customer Services and you must notify BPP Customer Services at the time of placing your order for your Applicable Course that you wish to pay using the BPP Payment Plan;

2.2.4 you must pay the first instalment of 25% of the total Course Fee for your Applicable Course at the time of placing your order;

2.2.5 you will receive an email from BPP customer services attaching a copy of the BPP Payment Plan application form which you must complete and return to BPP at Paymentplans@bpp.com within 24 hours of placing your order; and

2.2.6 you must be a resident in the UK at the time of placing your order and for the duration of your Applicable Course.

2.3 The BPP Payment Plan shall not be available where the requirements of Clause 2.2, above have not been met in full.

2.4 The BPP Payment Plan is not available to students whose Course Fees are being paid by their employer.

2.5 If you do not return your completed BPP Payment Plan application form within 24 hours of placing your order, your order will be cancelled.

2.6 It is your responsibility to ensure that the required payments are made in accordance with Clause 2.1 of these Additional Terms and Conditions. Any failure to make payment of an instalment in accordance with these Additional Terms and Conditions will be a breach of the terms of the BPP Payment Plan and, without prejudice to any other rights it may have, BPP reserve the right to:

2.6.1 - withdraw you from the BPP Payment Plan and any remaining Course Fees will become immediately due and payable in full; and/or

2.6.2 - refuse admittance to you to the Applicable Course and/or any assessments or exams relating to the Applicable Course; and/or

2.6.3 - withhold the results of any assessment or exam you may have taken in relation to the Applicable Course.

2.7 Where BPP takes action under Clause 2.6 of these Additional Terms and Conditions, you will not be entitled to a refund of any Course Fees already paid.

2.8 BPP will not charge you interest on Course Fees due pursuant to the BPP Payment Plan. Clauses 14.1 and 14.2 of the General Terms and Conditions for Classroom Course and Clauses 18.1 and 18.2 of the General Terms and Conditions for Online Courses shall not apply.

2.9 The BPP Payment Plan shall not be available in respect of Applicable Courses which have already been purchased by you and/or where the Applicable Course has already commenced.

2.10 The BPP Payment Plan doe not include any other discount or financial benefit to Qualifying Students and excludes any amounts payable to Awarding Bodies or any other professional body for membership, if applicable, which must be paid in full on their due date.

2.11 BPP may withdraw the BPP Payment Plan at any time in its sole discretion. Any such withdrawal shall not affect Qualifying Students who have purchased and are participating in an Applicable Courses and using the BPP Payment Plan at the date of such withdrawal. The BPP Payment Plan shall continue to be available to those Qualifying Students in relation to the Applicable Course which they are undertaking.

2.12 If you have breached, or, are in breach of any of the General Terms and Conditions and/or these Additional Terms and Conditions, you will cease to be eligible for the BPP Payment Plan in respect of the relevant Applicable Course and any future courses you may book, and BPP reserve the right to withdraw you from the BPP Payment Plan and any remaining Course Fees will become immediately due and payable in full. If you default in making payment in accordance with the BPP Payment Plan, BPP may also inform the relevant external awarding bodies, institutes and professional bodies with whom you are registered.

2.13 If you cancel your order in accordance with Clause 4 of the General Terms and Conditions, you will cease to be eligible for the BPP Payment Plan in respect of the relevant Applicable Course and any remaining Course Fees due by you will become immediately due and payable in full. If a refund is due to you in accordance with Clause 4 of General Terms and Conditions, you shall only be entitled to a refund of amounts paid prior to cancellation.

2.14 The BPP Payment Plan is offered subject to availability. Acceptance of your application for the BPP Payment Plan is at the sole discretion of BPP.

2.15 BPP may update or amend these Additional Terms and Conditions from time to time to comply with law or to meet its changing business requirements without notice to you. Any updates or amendments will be posted on the Website.

2.16 These Additional Terms and Conditions and any other matters arising out of or in relation to these Additional Terms and Conditions, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts to settle any dispute which may arise out of or in connection with these terms and conditions.
